Frequently asked questions

IV Vitamin therapy has been used ever since the 1930’s. It was coined by Dr Myers in the 1970s when he used high dose vitamin C and other vitamins and minerals to relieve his patients from symptoms associated with such ailments as fibromyalgia, migraines, depression, seasonal allergies, etc. Although vitamin therapy is not new, there is still little known about its benefits. Below are some frequently asked questions about IV therapy and what we do. Any additional questions not answered, please feel free to contact us.

  • How often do I need a treatment session?
Each treatment plan is customized based on your needs, desires, or goals. For best results we recommend weekly or bi-monthly infusions with many of the treatments for example skin care and anti-aging. Take a look at our membership packages. Some of the treatments are a quick fix and are only needed when the ailment is active ie: migraine, hangover. We suggest speaking to the Registered Nurse on site or our Nurse Practitioner for what would be best for you and your needs.
  • Is IV Therapy safe?
IV therapy is safe when administered by a qualified professional. Occasionally an allergic reaction may occur, however that is extremely rare and highly unlikely. On occasion there may be redness, soreness, itching, or discomfort at the site of administration that may last from a few minutes to several days. Before administering any therapy, an evaluation of your health history is conducted by a qualified provider.
  • Where can I have my appointment?
All of our services are currently concierge (mobile). We bring all of the equipment required. All you need to do is have a place to sit back for the appointment, which generally takes less than an hour. We will meet you at your home, office, the gym, outdoor events, parties, conferences, and more…
  • How long does it take?
The whole process will usually take 30-45 minutes to complete. Some infusions may be given at a slower rate. There are a few forms to complete prior to your infusion as well as a quick medical assessment.
  • What is IV Therapy?
IV therapy is the delivery of vitamins, fluids, and minerals directly through the bloodstream using a intravenous catheter (aka IV). This ensures a 100% absorption rate compared to only 20% if taken orally.
  • What can I expect during an infusion?
Once the treatment has started you can kick your legs up and relax. You may experience a warming sensation in your arm chest or abdomen when the IV is infusing as well as the sensation of tasting some of the vitamins, fluids, or nutrients that are in the treatment.
  • Will it hurt?
Getting stuck by a needle is never fun. However each person has different levels of tolerance. For those who are particularly squeamish to needles – we do provide topical numbing solutions when notified in advance.
  • What can IV therapy do for me?
IV vitamin therapy is used as part of the treatment for a wide range of conditions and diseases, primarily to help boost the body’s immune response and improve recovery. From cardiovascular disease to fibromyalgia and bronchitis, it essentially provides a kick to the immune system that can be extremely useful. It also can increase energy levels, assist in the healing process, and improve anxiety and mood.
